YCFLRehearsals and ConcertsVivace ranges from grades K-2. They rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 4:00-4:45pm.
ConBrio ranges from grades 3-6. They rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:00pm. Melodia is the oldest group in YCFL with students in grades 7-12. This semester they will rehearse with Mosaic on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm. |

Kristy IngersollMeet the DirectorKristy Ingersoll is a music educator and choir director with degrees from Ithaca College (MM) and The Pennsylvania State University (BME). Currently working as a stay at home mother of her three beautiful girls, she is also Founder and Artistic Director of YCFL (Youth Chorus of the Finger Lakes) and the Community Faith Choir. It is the mission of this program to provide youth with an engaging music experience
that fosters critical thinking and discovery learning,
sharing emotional and artistic expression through performance.

As the Director, I will uphold the YCFL Mission by
- Displaying professionalism and making informed decisions on
what is best for the singers of YCFL.
- Using music to bring people together through a diverse selection of repertoire.
- Asking questions that foster creative thought, social awareness, and emotional connection.
-Showing humility and taking advantage of opportunities to learn.
- Bringing respect, understanding, and patience to rehearsals with an ultimate goal of creating an environment of encouragement and affirmation.
- Striving to provide all singers with a positive encounter through music at each rehearsal.
