It is the mission of this program to provide youth with an engaging music experience
that fosters critical thinking and discovery learning,
sharing emotional and artistic expression through performance.
And to have fun while doing it!

As the Director, I will uphold the YCFL Mission by

- Displaying professionalism and making informed decisions on
what is best for the singers of YCFL.
- Using music to bring people together through a diverse selection of repertoire.
- Asking questions that foster creative thought, social awareness, and emotional connection.
-Showing humility and taking advantage of opportunities to learn.
- Bringing respect, understanding, and patience to rehearsals with an ultimate goal of creating an environment of encouragement and affirmation.
- Striving to provide all singers with a positive encounter through music at each rehearsal.
